Beta Terms of Service
Effective September 1, 2026
KlearTCG is an early beta. Features may be incomplete, scanner and price results may be wrong, and test data may be reset. Do not use the beta to make real purchases, sales, payments, shipments, or other financial commitments unless KlearTCG expressly invites you into a separate live-transaction test.
1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using KlearTCG, you agree to these Beta Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or guardian must permit your use. You are responsible for accurate account information, activity under your account, and keeping sign-in methods secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. What the beta provides
The beta may include collection tracking, estimated prices, card and product search, card scanning, profiles, social features, test listings, and experimental marketplace workflows. We may add, remove, limit, reset, or suspend beta features and test data at any time. We do not promise that the beta will remain available or become a finished product.
4. Prices, scanner results, and collection data
Card identities, printings, grades, conditions, certification details, prices, charts, and portfolio values are estimates or third-party data. They can be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. Review scanner matches before saving them. KlearTCG does not grade cards, authenticate collectibles, verify certification status, provide tax or investment advice, or guarantee that an item can be bought or sold at a displayed value.
5. Your content and scanner contributions
You keep ownership of photos, profile content, feedback, and other material you submit. You give KlearTCG a limited license to host, process, display, and reproduce that material only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service or as you direct.
Scanner-training retention is optional and requires a separate opt-in. If enabled, confirmed card photos may be retained privately and used to train or evaluate KlearTCG scanner systems. Turning retention off stops future retention and requests deletion of retained source images. Improvements already incorporated into an aggregated model may not be technically reversible. See the Privacy Policy for details.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use KlearTCG to:
- break the law, infringe rights, harass others, or submit illegal content;
- misrepresent a card, grade, condition, certification, identity, or ownership;
- probe, disrupt, overload, scrape at abusive rates, or bypass service security;
- upload malware or content you do not have permission to use; or
- treat beta listings, balances, order states, or demonstrations as real transactions.
7. Feedback
You may submit bug reports and suggestions voluntarily. We may use feedback without restriction or payment, but we will handle personal information included with feedback under the Privacy Policy.
8. Suspension and ending participation
You may stop using the beta at any time and may request account deletion from Settings. We may restrict or suspend access to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law, or operate the beta. Some records may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, legal obligations, dispute prevention, or backup recovery.
9. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the beta is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness, merchantability, or non-infringement. KlearTCG is not responsible for decisions made from estimated prices, scanner output, test listings, or third-party information.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KlearTCG will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from the beta. These terms do not limit rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the beta changes. We will post a new effective date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice in the service. Continued use after the update means you accept the revised terms.
Questions can be sent through the contact page.
