Data Sources
KlearTCG combines several sources to build product records and estimate prices. Prices are estimates, not live quotes, and are updated on a regular schedule.
Card and sealed product records are built from public TCG datasets and normalized into KlearTCG canonical variants (raw, graded, sealed / Standard, Pokémon Center, etc.).
Estimates are based on recent sales data from multiple marketplaces including eBay sold listings, TCGplayer market prices, and PriceCharting. Outliers are removed and the middle range is averaged. Different variants (raw vs. PSA 10 vs. sealed) are priced separately.
Card images are sourced from the Pokémon TCG API and TCGplayer product pages. Sealed product images use stable retailer images where available.
Marketplace activity comes from Klear listings, completed sales, and saves. Set growth uses tracked price history; “Most Tracked Sets” measures how many cards in each set have current market coverage. Upcoming release dates remain a beta preview and are excluded from search indexing until an official release feed is connected.
